The Horizon Stagelighters are dedicated volunteers who provide Front of House services for Horizon Stage. They act as ushers and ticket-takers, run the bar and concessions, and are the first-line public face of Horizon Stage - welcoming our patrons with quality service. Incorporated as a not-for-profit society, the Stagelighters provide ongoing recruitment, training and recognition of their volunteers, promote the value of theatre in our community, fundraise for Horizon Stage, and even sponsor and present performances. Horizon Stagelighter members must be at least 16 years old. With our dedicated volunteers' support, the Horizon Stagelighters will enrich the community's cultural experience and instill a passion for the performing arts in this and future generations.
If you would like to join the Horizon Stagelighters, complete the application form online. We are currently at full capacity for volunteers and any applications submitted through the online application form will be held in 'pending' status until Summer 2024.
