Inspired by one of Disney’s most beloved films and the acclaimed Broadway musical that dazzled audiences for over 2,500 performances earning multiple Olivier and Tony Award nominations Cameron Mackintosh and Disney’s Mary Poppins JR. brings this classic story to life in a delightful Broadway Junior adaptation.
The story is introduced by Bert, a charming jack-of-all-trades, who welcomes us to England in 1910 and into the troubled household of the Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have already driven away a long line of nannies when the extraordinary Mary Poppins arrives. Armed with both magic and common sense, she sets out to teach the family the importance of kindness, imagination, and connection. Through a series of whimsical and unforgettable adventures, Mary Poppins transforms not only the children, but the adults as well proving her belief that “anything can happen if you let it.”
