The Horizon Stagelighters are dedicated volunteers who provide Front of House services for Horizon Stage. They act as ushers and ticket-takers, run the bar and concessions, and are the first-line public face of Horizon Stage - welcoming our patrons with quality service. Incorporated as a not-for-profit society, the Stagelighters provide ongoing recruitment, training and recognition of their volunteers, promote the value of theatre in our community, fundraise for Horizon Stage, and even sponsor and present performances. Horizon Stagelighter members are age 12+. With our dedicated volunteers' support, the Horizon Stagelighters will enrich the community's cultural experience and instill a passion for the performing arts in this and future generations.

Horizon Stage Tech Team
The Horizon Stage Tech Team is a volunteer organization that supports the performing arts in Spruce Grove by working behind the scenes on all aspects of technical theatre. Under the supervision of the Technical Services Team, Tech Team members provide backstage and technical support for season and rental performances at Horizon Stage. They also provide set-up, tear-down, and technical assistance at many of the City’s special events. Members are trained in the technical areas they choose to work in as well as in safety regulations and procedure.
Horizon Stage Tech Team members are age 16+.We are currently accepting new applicants for the Tech Team. If you are interested in volunteering as a Tech Team member, please fill out a tech team volunteer application form and submit it either By email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail: City Hall Ticket Centre 315 Jespersen Ave. Spruce Grove Alberta T7X 3E8. You may also drop it off at the City Hall Ticket Centre during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Horizon PlayersA fixture in the community for over twenty years, the Horizon Players are committed to providing theatre opportunities for the local community, both as participants and as audience members. The Players are a not-for-profit society, open to anyone interested in live community theatre. Each season the Players produce two main stage productions at Horizon Stage. Play-reading nights and workshops are also held from time to time. Membership is open to anyone and opportunities exist to be involved in a variety of roles including actors, backstage crew, publicists, directors or designers. Previous theatrical experience is not required.
