COVID-19 (April 8)

Impacts to our patrons

April 8

Horizon Stage closure extended until Sept. 1, 2020.

The City of Spruce Grove has extended Horizon Stage’s closure until Sept. 1, 2020, in response to the ever-changing situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

All remaining 2019-2020 season performances and rentals will be cancelled or rescheduled.

For the final season performance of Going Wild with Brian Keating, scheduled for May 22, and the rental performance of “It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere” – a tribute to Alan Jackson, scheduled for April 3, we are exploring opportunities to reschedule both for the future.

Current ticketholders for these two performances will be contacted by Horizon Stage staff or Ticketpro to discuss options.

The Footlights summer drama camps will be cancelled.

Horizon Stage staff are currently working on future programming and look forward to providing more information as things become clear in the weeks and months ahead. Regular timelines for announcements will likely be amended and we thank you for your patience and patronage.

In the meantime, please stay tuned to our website and social media for updates, and for the latest on the City-wide situation, visit the City’s websiteExternal regularly. Be safe, be well, and we look forward to being able to provide more information to our patrons when we are able to do so.
